The 10-week practical business-building experience gets underway.
Training runs October–December 2026, followed by pitching and graduation in January 2027 and post-training mentorship from February–April 2027.

We are not expecting a polished business plan. We want to understand where you are, what you have already tried and whether you are ready to put in the work.
Engage in over 40 hours of immersive virtual learning with JumpSTART! Our program is delivered live via Zoom, offering flexibility and accessibility to entrepreneurs across Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean. This interactive format allows for real-time engagement with facilitators and peers, fostering a dynamic learning environment no matter your location.
Receive personalized guidance from our experienced YBTT mentors. Throughout the 3-month program, you'll be matched with a seasoned professional who will act as your trusted advisor and sounding board. Benefit from their strategic insights, practical advice, and support in applying program learnings directly to your venture, helping you navigate challenges and accelerate your growth.

A major highlight of JumpSTART is developing your ability to pitch with clarity and confidence. You will have the opportunity to craft and deliver a compelling presentation of your business idea to an expert panel. This capstone experience provides invaluable feedback, refines your strategic communication, and significantly enhances your confidence to present to any audience.
Your Commitment, Returned
Selected participants make a TT$500 commitment payment before the programme begins. It is not a tuition fee. The full amount is refunded when you successfully graduate from JumpSTART.

Here are the honest answers to the questions most applicants ask.
Do I need an established business?
No. JumpSTART is designed for people with a promising idea as well as early-stage entrepreneurs who are ready to strengthen what they have started.
Is there a cost to participate?
There is no programme fee. Selected participants make a TT$500 commitment payment, which is fully refunded when they successfully graduate from JumpSTART.
Does every participant receive a grant?
No. Selected graduates may become eligible for micro-grant support based on the programme’s criteria, participation requirements and final assessment.
What commitment is expected?
You should be ready to attend 70% of sessions, complete practical assignments, test your ideas and actively work on your business throughout the programme.
