Michelle Low Chew Tung, MBA BA(Hons) U.K., is a renowned expert in marketing, business development strategy, and export development. As the founder and Managing Director of INVENI Business and Technology Ltd, the Caribbean’s leading China sourcing solutions company, Michelle brings a wealth of experience to the table. With a diverse professional background spanning various sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality and tourism, banking, insurance, and government enterprise development, she understands the intricacies of running a business. Michelle has assisted over 60 businesses in adapting to new realities and forging ahead, specializing in areas such as business development, marketing, sales, supply chain management, export planning, and branding.

Michelle’s commitment to fostering export growth is evident in her work over the past 18 months, collaborating with local manufacturers to enhance their export capabilities. She leads the coaching services component and serves as the lead business coach under the Export Accelerator program implemented by exporTT Limited. Michelle’s expertise extends to both product and services businesses, as she became the first certified Export Canvas Coach in Trinidad and Tobago in December 2022. She is also certified as a Trainer under the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services (TTCSI) Gateway to Trade export capacity building and acceleration program for services MSMEs.

Moreover, Michelle’s contributions to the industry have been recognized and celebrated. In 2021, she joined the highly successful UNDP Barbados & Eastern Caribbean-led Fut-Tourism Business Adaptation Programme, providing mentoring and facilitation services to ten MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean. This program received the prestigious Caribbean Sustainable Tourism Award in the category of Tourism Education & Training in February 2023.

Michelle’s academic achievements complement her practical expertise. She holds an MBA with a specialization in International Marketing from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, University of the West Indies, and a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in International Business Administration from the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. With her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, Michelle is dedicated to empowering businesses in their export endeavors and driving their success in the global marketplace.
