YB Spotlight Charlott Jaggernauth-Khan

As we celebrate 25 years of supporting entrepreneurs, the 25 for 25 campaign highlights individuals whose journeys reflect growth, resilience, and the power of building with intention.

Building with Purpose

Leadership does not always come with certainty. Sometimes, it begins with clarity of purpose and the courage to build something meaningful.

Charlott Jaggernauth-Khan’s entrepreneurial path is one rooted in purpose, care, and vision. As the founder of Charlott’s Spa360 Ltd, she continues to shape a beauty and wellness brand that goes beyond services to create meaningful experiences and opportunities for others.

Building Charlott’s Spa360 Ltd

Founded six years ago in Point Fortin, Charlott’s Spa360 Ltd is a growing beauty and wellness brand focused on transforming self-care into a lifestyle. The business offers professional hair, nail, and spa services, along with makeup artistry and body treatments, all delivered with a strong emphasis on personal care and professionalism.

Charlott describes her vision as holistic, creating a full 360 experience where clients feel relaxed, valued, and restored.

“Our clients don’t just come for beauty services,” she explains. “They come for peace, comfort, and self-care.”

What sets the brand apart is the genuine attention given to every client. Each service is delivered with intention, creating an environment where people feel cared for rather than rushed.

The Leap

Charlott’s decision to start Charlott’s Spa360 was driven by a deep passion for beauty, self-care, and empowering others to feel confident in their own skin. It all started with a frustrating problem she could not solve, dealing with her own textured hair. It made her frustrated, depressed, anxious and she needed a solution. She would be surprised to learn that the one thing she thought was her biggest problem would spark the trajectory of her life’s passion. The more she learnt, the more she became obsessed. Striving to help others who are in the same predicament she found herself prior to her journey.

She now seeks to build something meaningful that reflected her values, creativity, and love for helping others. That realisation gave her the courage to take the leap into entrepreneurship and turn her vision into reality.

Responsibility Through Experience

Running a business came with its challenges. One of Charlott’s biggest tests was balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with personal and family responsibilities, while managing clients, finances, and marketing largely on her own.

“There were moments when I felt overwhelmed,” she admits. “There were times I doubted myself but giving up was never an option.”

What sustained her was her passion for beauty and her desire to help others. Over time, she learned that setbacks are a natural part of growth. Each challenge strengthened her discipline, resilience, and determination, shaping how she now approaches leadership and decision making.

YBTT Support

Charlott’s growth was significantly shaped through her participation in the YBTT JumpSTART Incubator, which she describes as a turning point in her entrepreneurial journey.

Before the programme, she had passion but lacked structure. Through mentorship and workshops, she gained clarity in planning, budgeting, financial management, and strategic thinking. One of her biggest “aha” moments was realising that success comes from consistency, not perfection.

“I had the privilege of participating in the JumpSTART program, which was a transformative experience for me. The program sparked a newfound interest in business and entrepreneurship, and the lecturers were incredibly supportive and motivating. I highly recommend this program to anyone who shares a passion for business and dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. The value I received for the price paid was exceptional, and I am grateful for the profound impact that YBTT has had on my life. In the future, I hope to pay it forward and help others just as I was helped.” ~ Post JumpSTART Testimonial

Her assigned mentor, Erricia Bailey, describes Charlott as driven, decisive, and highly receptive to guidance. She notes that Charlott had a clear sense of what she wanted to achieve, which allowed mentorship to focus on refining execution rather than finding direction. Charlott listened, documented, and acted on advice, demonstrating leadership through accountability and follow-through.

Community

Charlott’s journey reflects the importance of community in entrepreneurship. Being part of a supportive ecosystem provided her with guidance, perspective, and encouragement that helped her view her business not just as a passion, but as a growing brand with long-term potential.

This collaborative environment reinforced the value of shared learning and support, principles that continue to shape how she approaches growth and leadership.

The Vision Beyond

Charlott’s vision for Charlott’s Spa360 extends far beyond its current offerings. Her goal is to expand from a one-woman operation into a full beauty and wellness centre that provides training and development opportunities for others. The goal isn’t fixated on external beauty only, but the client as a whole (360), mind, body and soul.

She is working toward opening a cosmetology and esthetics school to train and certify young professionals in the beauty industry. In addition, she plans to step into life coaching, mentorship and motivational speaking, using her journey to inspire women to pursue entrepreneurship, personal growth, and financial independence.

Her long-term vision is for Charlott’s Spa360 to become a recognised brand that represents self-care, empowerment, and excellence across the Caribbean.

Paying it Forward: Advice

Charlott encourages women entering entrepreneurship to believe in themselves, even when the path feels uncertain.

“You won’t have all the answers in the beginning, and that’s okay,” she says. “What matters is that you start. Stay consistent, stay teachable, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.”

She emphasises the importance of surrounding yourself with positive people, investing in learning, and staying connected to your purpose when challenges arise.

Her personal mantra continues to ground her through it all: My faith is stronger than my fear.”

Charlott Jaggernauth-Khan’s story reflects the spirit of YBTT’s 25 for 25 campaign. It is a story of purpose-driven entrepreneurship, strengthened through mentorship, community, and a commitment to building something that empowers others.
